Tefnut
Goddess of rain and the balance between fire and water, Tefnut brings freshness and harmony. Her touch restores and reconnects the soul to the source of life. She represents the sweetness that pacifies the inner world.

Tefnut is the Goddess of moisture and vital balance.
She represents the dew of the morning, the sacred mist that envelops the world, and the feminine power that nourishes and harmonizes creation.
Tefnut is one of the first divine emanations created by Atum, the primordial God.
According to the sacred texts, Atum generated her together with her brother Shu through a sacred act of exhalation or divine tears, symbolizing the birth of wind and moisture — the first forces that gave shape to the world after chaos.
The name Tefnut derives from tef (“moisture”) and nwt (“sky”), evoking the vital substance that permeates the air.
She represents subtle, spiritual water — not the water of the Nile or of storms, but the cosmic dew that awakens dormant seeds, the living essence that unites the elements in balance.
Together with Shu, Tefnut forms the first divine pair of the world and the archetype of dynamic equilibrium:
Shu is the air that separates and gives space, while Tefnut is the moisture that unites and gives cohesion.
Myth tells that Tefnut, offended by Atum, left Egypt and took refuge in Nubia.
With her departure, the land became barren until Thoth convinced her to return.
When Tefnut came back, fertility returned to the world.
This myth symbolizes the cycle of drought and the return of rain, but also the separation and reconciliation between spirit and matter.
On a spiritual level, Tefnut is the Goddess of inner balance and purified emotions.
She regulates the inner waters, dissolves tension, and restores the soul to its luminous calm.
