Geb
God of the fertile earth, Geb is stability, living matter, the foundation of all existence. His laughter makes the mountains tremble and seeds sprout. He is the force that roots the spirit in earthly life.

Geb is the Living Earth, Father of the Gods and the foundation of all existence.
He is the laughter that makes life sprout, the solidity that embraces the sky, and the matter vibrating with divine spirit.
Geb is the God of the Earth, representing the generative and fertile power of the planet.
Son of Shu (Air) and Tefnut (Moisture), and brother and consort of Nut (the Sky), Geb belongs to the first divine generation that emerged from primordial chaos.
In the myth of creation, the god Shu separated Geb (Earth) from Nut (Sky), placing Air between them.
Yet the two lovers still long for one another: each day the sky bends toward the earth for a kiss, and the rain is the sign of their eternal union.
Geb is also father of the most renowned deities of the Egyptian pantheon — Osiris, Isis, Seth, and Nephthys — born from his union with Nut.
He is thus the patriarch of the divine lineage, the one who transmits vital force and cosmic continuity.
As the symbol of Earth, Geb is not inert but alive and conscious.
The mountains are his body, the earthquakes his voice, and his laughter the sprouting of the fields.
He is the divine substance of matter, the living host of creation’s soul.
On an initiatory level, Geb represents the root of the material world — not as a limitation, but as the temple of life.
His energy teaches us to recognize spirit within matter, and to honor the body as a manifestation of the Divine.
